With more than 6,000 participants, 1,400 employees, and more than 120 attractions, the event had content on three simultaneous stages and spaces for networking and entertainment.
With more than 6 thousand participants, FIRE Festival, one of the biggest festivals of digital entrepreneurship, marketing, technology, and innovation in Latin America, returned for its sixth edition which was held at Expominas, in Belo Horizonte. From September 1-3, the event brought together names like Thiago Nigro, Pedro Sobral, Gkay, Nathalia Arcuri, Rachel Maria, Gloria Groove, and more than 120 attractions, including big players in the communication and entrepreneurship space.
Organized by Hotmart, a global technology company and leader in the creator economy, the festival's slogan was "The new is now." There were more than 1,400 staff members (of which more than 800 were external suppliers and more than 600 Hotmart employees), more than 90 panels and lectures on 3 simultaneous stages, and more than 25,000 interactions on social networks about the event. “FIRE Festival 2022 exceeded our expectations. The audience's engagement greatly enriched each lesson learned, I truly believe that we achieved our goal of promoting digital entrepreneurship and the creator economy. The initiative will open doors for professionals and highlight the next steps in this scenario in marketing and technology”, commented Nathalia Cavalieri, General Manager at Hotmart.
The first day of the Festival (September 01) brought together big names such as Alok, Gkay, and Billy Gene is Marketing, who shared global strategies to create better video ads. In addition, the CEO and founder of Hotmart, João Pedro Resende, presented the opportunities and challenges that Web 3.0 offers for digital businesses.
The second day (September 02) was marked by business talks and featured discussions on social impact in the creator economy. Adam Lyons, the founder of SMART Blueprint, talked about what creators need to know to boost their income. Dan Fleyshman talked about creating a personal brand and made it clear that people need to explore different social media platforms. Actress and entrepreneur, Jen Gottlieb was also present and shared her insight about becoming an authority and creating content to solve people’s problems.
The last day of the event featured names such as Rachel Maia, the first black woman to occupy a CEO position in Brazil, who addressed the importance of plurality in companies and education for a more diverse work environment. To wrap up FIRE, Thiago Nigro, CEO of Grupo Primo, gave the final presentation of the Innovation stage and spoke about his way of doing digital marketing. “We sought to merge different topics so that all participants could find exactly what they're looking for in their career, business, or even personal development. The speakers contributed with reflections, data, success stories, and experiences so that everyone left the event with a solid idea of the digital market's next steps," said Cavalieri.
FIRE Festival 2022 attractions
Repeating the success of 2019, FIRE also featured a Fun Space, with Food Park, DJs, bands, and product activations; the VIP Area, which this year included an exclusive restaurant and a live studio sponsored by Wepod, with recordings of interviews with top creators in the digital market; and the Hotmart Store, which sold a collection of special pieces created for this year's edition of the festival. For the first, participants were also able to take advantage of the Creators Hall space, aimed at promoting business between sponsors and participants, including an exclusive area for partner agencies.
The 2022 edition of FIRE also inaugurated Hotmart's first initiative with NFTs, or non-fungible tokens. During the event, one NFT was randomly and uniquely distributed to each event participant. In addition to being collectibles, the NFTs granted prizes, ranging from discounts on FIRE 2023 tickets to items in the Hotmart Store.
FIRE Festival 2022 was also sponsored by AWS (Amazon Web Services), Buzzlead, Etus, Reportei, SEBRAE MG, and Tactus. In addition, the exclusive area of Hotmart partner agencies was sponsored by 4Multiplus, Agência Vê, Like Marketing, Produção Power, and Rocket Launches. The event also counted on the support of the city of Belo Horizonte, Belotur (Municipal Tourism Company of Belo Horizonte), and the Superintendent of Belo Horizonte.
